Precautions and main standards of gate valve installation?

1. Handwheel, handle and transmission mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting, and collision is strictly prohibited.

2. The double gate valve should be installed vertically (i.e. the stem is in the vertical position and the hand wheel is at the top).

3. The gate valve with bypass valve should be opened before opening (to balance the pressure difference between inlet and outlet and reduce the opening force).

4. The gate valve with transmission mechanism shall be installed according to the provisions of the product operation manual.

5. If the valve is used frequently, lubricate it at least once a month.

6. The gate valve is only used to fully open and close all kinds of pipeline or medium operation on equipment, and is not allowed to be used for throttling.

7. For gate valve with hand wheel or handle, auxiliary lever shall not be added during operation (if the sealing is not tight, check and repair the sealing surface or other parts). Turn the hand wheel and handle clockwise to close, otherwise open. The gate valve with transmission mechanism shall be used according to the provisions of the product operation manual.
